You know, the Lord always encourages me just when and how I need it. He's so good to me. I've been feeling like I fail, and have so little to offer... Well, guess what, He reminded me it's true. I don't have much to offer, and I'm not wise, and I'm not influential...in myself, but that's the wonderful part, I guess. My Lord can be glorified because whatever good is accomplished can be credited to Him. He's the source of whatever wisdom, righteousness, or holiness comes out of my life.

Thanks Lord for reminding me just when I needed it :)

26Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29so that no one may boast before him. 30It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."1 Corinthians 1:26-31

In GOD We Trust

Here's a wonderful quote... I don't know from what month, but I think it's funny to see the world vaguely acknowledge God like this. At least they know there is a God to turn to if they so choose...I guess.

The quote of the month is by Jay Leno:

"With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the
Pledge of Allegiance?"

The Girl and the Microwave

Up 'til this last week My girlie was a little scared of the microwave. If she heard it beep she'd come running to me with big eyes and want to be held. I've been telling her "beep" when it beeps, and now instead of running scared she just walks around saying "beep, beep, beep..." as if she knows just what's going on and she's telling me now.

ONE Month

Wow. I have one month left (or so) until the baby is here! This pregnancy has flown by. It's the first, and I'm due June first.

I think we're about ready. I still have a couple things around the house I want to be settled before he comes, but we're getting there. We have the "new baby" stuff we need. Now we're just waiting on him and the Lord. How exciting.
