Well, we're having storms tonight here in OKC. Pretty typical. Thunder storms, strong winds, lightning, tornados... though I would avoid taking this serious weather lightly, it is kind of old news this time of year living in this part of the country.
Earthquakes, however, are an entirely different story. We don't generally hear anything in the earthquake department out here.
Apparently, according to our local weather guy there were four (yeah, 4) small earthquakes this morning where our I-40 and I-44 cross. That's right in the middle of the city. He said one of them was a 2.5 on the richter scale. (Pretty small, is that enough to be felt...?)
Anyway, weird. Weird, weird weather. In the last week I've heard about all kinds of unusual weather events. One example, I heard on the radio, there was a snow advisory in CO and OR. Snow in June?
Now I'm not saying be fearful, but hey, look around, this is unusual. Why is this happening?

Actually, snow in the Rockie Mountains in June is not at all unusual. I remember a trip my family took back in the summer of 1978. We were tent camping in Yellowstone and woke up to several feet of snow on our tents. It was dark and I thought the sun was just rising; it was only the layer of snow hiding the late-morning sun (I slept in). I will always remember the date, too. It was June 9.
However, other things are happening like earth quakes and tornados. I do beleive that these increased reports of catastropes is a sign that we are closer to the second coming of Christ. I think we agree there.
