At one point in the movie a man (a professor at a college with who knows how many fancy degrees and such) said that "[maybe life came from the pre-organisms piggy backing on the backs of crystals]" that is where life came from? Whoa! What?! Ben Stein repeated what he had said, "So, you think maybe life came from mud on crystals?" Yes, this is actually what this guy thought was a good theory on how life started! Whoa. I was surprised that very intelligent people can say and believe such off the wall things. They say my God is silly to believe in, he couldn't have created the earth in less than a week. Must have been mud and crystals.

Barbara and I also went to see Expelled on Sunday afternoon. It was excellent. I have read about a lot of the debate in the past, but Stein did a great job of interviewing the mud on crystal type guys :-) Hey don't forget the alien seeds!

Well, the mud crystal guy obviously doesn't work in a hospital! I don't know too many atheist who are Nurses and Doctors.
